Interactive Tutorial System

Getting started with StudioFlow is now easier than ever. We’ve added an intelligent tutorial system that guides new users through the essential features step by step.

Smart Onboarding

When you first open StudioFlow, the tutorial automatically appears, walking you through creating your first studio layout. Each step highlights the relevant part of the interface, making it clear what to do next. The tutorial remembers your progress, so if you need to take a break, you can pick up right where you left off.

Control When You Learn

Not ready for the full tutorial? No problem. You can dismiss it and bring it back later from the help menu. Once you’ve completed the tutorial, you can choose “Don’t show again” to permanently dismiss it. For those who want to revisit the basics, the tutorial remains accessible through your project settings.

Annotation System for Documentation

Your studio designs can now include detailed notes and documentation directly on the canvas. This powerful feature helps you communicate important information about your setup to clients, team members, or your future self.

Adding Context to Your Designs

Click the annotation tool in the canvas toolbar to start adding text notes anywhere on your layout. Annotate specific equipment with technical requirements, label cable runs with signal types, or add general notes about the room setup. Each annotation can be positioned precisely where it’s most relevant.

Professional Documentation

Annotations appear as clean, professional text overlays on your canvas. They’re included when you export or screenshot your designs, making them perfect for creating comprehensive studio documentation. You can edit or delete annotations at any time, keeping your documentation current as your studio evolves.

Delete Mode for Easy Cleanup

We’ve also added a dedicated delete mode to the canvas toolbar. When activated, simply click on any equipment or annotation to remove it instantly. This makes it much faster to clean up your designs or try different configurations without navigating through menus.
